Conflict of Interest Policy

The Journal of Artificial Intelligence in Medical and Veterinary Sciences (JAIMVS) requires all authors, reviewers, editors, and editorial board members to disclose any actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest that could influence their professional judgment or the integrity of the publication process.

Conflicts of interest may include financial relationships, employment, consultancy, research funding, personal or professional relationships, academic competition, intellectual property interests, or any other circumstances that could affect impartiality.

Authors must disclose all relevant conflicts of interest at the time of manuscript submission. If no conflicts exist, authors should state: “The authors declare that there are no conflicts of interest.”

Reviewers and editors must disclose any conflicts that could affect their objective assessment of a manuscript and should decline to participate in the review or editorial decision when appropriate.

All disclosed conflicts will be handled confidentially and assessed by the editorial team. Where necessary, appropriate measures will be taken to ensure an independent and unbiased peer-review and editorial decision-making process.

Failure to disclose a relevant conflict of interest may result in corrective action, including publication of a correction or, where appropriate, retraction of the published article.
